Colored Dream

Colored dream:


I fell into everlasting dream
Falling for hours or so it seemed

Suddenly there was a tremendous sound
Bright beautiful colors covered the ground

All kinds of colors blue green and red
And other dreamers who fell from there beds

I yelled to them...where is this place
They could not answer...they had no face

I could only imagine where I might be
The  beautiful colors were all I could see

As I looked around it dawned on me
The other dreamers were meant to be

Without their faces to see and to hear
They gave no expression of the darkness they fear

Of being in a dream that's black and white
And all beautiful colors disappearing from sight

This dream could last forever in time
A colorful dream that clears the mind

I would rather be stuck in a colorful dream
Than black and white such a common scheme

So if by chance I'm here for a while
Always remember a continuous smile

I love color so I'll be happy here
I realize about color that is seen quite clear

When the colors are bright and cheerful...there's no reason to fear.
